At the Crossroads: The history of Eastwood

This story originates deep in the core of Oxford County in southern Ontario but it is a common tale of rural life and early Ontario settlement. The names might change, the setting might vary but the tales of perseverance, independence and community ring true for rural life across the province.

This project is to give not only Eastwood its due but all those other rural communities whose stories are unrecorded, whose communities are now shadows of an earlier time, whose place names on the highway are surrounded by the ghosts of the past.
This story is to give all those communities their time in the sun.
